Pipe tig welder wanted in Wayne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Wayne County, West Virginia. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 6+ years on the tools preferred.
