Flatlock machine operator wanted in Habersham County

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Habersham County, Georgia. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
