Steel erection rigger • Jones County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Jones County, Iowa. Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $120 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
