Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Brown County, Texas. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
