Gtaw welder • Niobrara County, Wyoming

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Niobrara County, Wyoming. Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
