Rebar worker • Randolph County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Randolph County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy residential building site. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Rotating shifts.
