Press shop operator • Lake County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Lake County, Indiana. You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
