Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Kaura, Kaduna State. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
