What we are looking for: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel On a typical shift you will punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; clear and reset tables between covers; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules.
