We are recruiting: furnace operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You will work on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 5+ years on the tools preferred.
