Now hiring: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work at a busy body shop. The role involves: • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder What we are looking for: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Six days a week, one day off.
