The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
