Refrigeration technician • Payette County, Idaho

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Payette County, Idaho. The job is at a food processing plant. Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; service split AC units and VRF systems. Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
