Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Burke County, North Carolina. The job is at a high-rise construction project. The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
