Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Louisa County, Iowa. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. You will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
