Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Nelson County, Kentucky. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
