Great opportunity: shakeout operator (Scotland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
