Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Mercer County, New Jersey. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) You will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
