Immediate opening: gas metal arc welder (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Bath and North East Somerset, England. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
