Gang bricklayer — Mercer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Mercer County, Kentucky. You will work on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Rotating shifts. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
