Immediate opening: gas service engineer (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Ross County, Ohio. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
