Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Blackford County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules 5+ years on the tools preferred.
