Refrigeration field service technician — Massac County

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Massac County, Illinois. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. On a typical shift you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience.
