Brickwork mason — Lancashire

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Lancashire, England. You will work on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
