Abattoir worker wanted in Avoyelles Parish

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day-to-day duties: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Full-time, day shift.
