The role involves carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
