Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Marion County, West Virginia. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Full-time, day shift. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
