Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Skagit County, Washington. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
