Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Boyle County, Kentucky. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
