Great opportunity: floor and wall tile fitter (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Crawford County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter Ideal candidate: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Full-time with occasional weekends.
