Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in City of Roanoke, Virginia. The role involves match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Part-time with flexible hours.
