Banksman wanted in Wayne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
