Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
