What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day to day you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines.
