Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam 6+ years on the tools preferred.
