Fire and safety officer • Creek County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Creek County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day to day you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift.
