Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in New Kent County, Virginia. The job is at a cloud kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
