We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Maiduguri, Borno State. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
