Dough maker — Vermilion Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dough maker in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; score the top of loaves before baking; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
