We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofer in Inverclyde, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
