Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will work in a hospital canteen. The role involves hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
