Gas service engineer • Etowah County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Etowah County, Alabama. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. On the job you will handle: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
