Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Herefordshire, England. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred.
