Metal caster wanted in Polk County

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Polk County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
