Furnace operator wanted in Mohave County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furnace operator in Mohave County, Arizona. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
