Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial electrician in Smith County, Kansas. The job is at a busy electrical contractor. Day to day you will measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter; replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Requirements: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
