Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
