Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Duval County, Texas. Day to day you will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; refuel the machine and record running hours; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
