Stainless steel welder — Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Polk County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
