Now hiring: we are hiring a tiler in Monroe County, Illinois. The job is on a residential construction site. Requirements: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone On a typical shift you will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
